Home of the Student Loan Consolidation – Learn about Student Loan
student loan

How can I go to a university when student loans only cover half and I make minimum wage?

And of march it’s in Michigan where there have been positively no second jobs to get.
My relatives can’t assistance me out either.

    Suggestions:
  1. Find a cheaper school. You have a huge range of costs.

  2. I am in the same boat. I work full-time but have rent and bills to pay for with no help from my mom (dad died 8 years ago).

Just apply for as many scholarships/grants as you can. Other than that you should be able to get loans to cover the rest.

  3. Either you find another loan, seek other means of financial aid (do you qualify for grants or scholarships?) or you will have to wait until you can save up more money.

  4. Well, if you’re from the United States and your parents can’t help you out, you should be receiving a lot of financial aid based on your FAFSA information, separate from your student loan. However, if this isn’t the case, you need to consider a more reasonably priced school and maybe save the pricier schools for your graduate education.

  5. Find a cheaper school… like a community college if you’re still in lower level courses.

  6. Have you talked to a financial aid officer? There are probably options that you don’t know about.

A lot of scholarships are never used because people didn’t know they were eligible.

What about a scholarship? Have you looked into that?

  7. As odd as this may sound, try applying to private schools. Yes, they are more expensive, but they often have a LOT more endowment money for scholarships! Good luck to you!
