My daughter is entering her youth year of college as well as is transfering to a opposite college. In her freshmen year you co-signed a loan for her. In her sophmore year she was means to take out a loan but a co-signer. Now she is requesting for an additional loan as well as Sallie Mae is revelation her she needs a co-signer. you had hoped which you would not need to pointer for her again. Are there any alternative loans for college students which a relatives do not have to pointer for?

It is very tough to get a student loan without a co-signer even if the co-signer makes over $19,000 as another person as suggested. I was the victim of a scam and my credit got ruined. My Dad has excellent credit but no one will approve a student loan with him as a co-signer because he’s only been at his current job for 6 months. My fianc?e has ok credit and makes almost $40,000 and they wouldn’t accept him as a co-signer either. I have applied to every bank and loan company I could find on the internet. I even started calling to find out their minimum credit scores to see if it would even be worth while to apply. I got the same answer each time “we don’t give out that information”. They all just wanted me to apply and “see” if I will get approved. I told them I know they wouldn’t approve me because I’ve applied to all of them before. (I was able to get some negatives off my credit report and raise the score to 610 but no one will tell me if that’s high enough and all want to run my credit again! That will show as an injury and cause it to go down even more!!)
Pre Prime loans are the loans to students who have no credit and no co-signer. The only requirement is that the student does not have bad credit. They also consider the student’s high school GPA and intended major as factors.

This year is different from previous years. Due to the uncertainty of many of these large financial firms, the underwriting guidelines that lenders use to determine eligibility has taken a more conservative approach. Many of these firms will increase their credit requirments to ensure they minimize risk. However, some are still open to writing loans for those that have slightly lower credit ratings due to the lack of credit history more than anything else.
Another private student loan firm based in MD, College Loan Campus, may be able to help your daughter on her own. The determination is extremely easy and only takes minutes to find out.
You can visit them here,
Hope this helps. Best of luck to you and your daughter.
Have you tried the government student loans? They require no credit check, no cosigner, and have a fixed low interest rate. You need to apply at.
Check with several lenders to see which ones would allow her to borrower on her own. Compare rates and terms at sites like .
Keep in mind that if you do co-sign for her, she’s likely to get a better rate than if she does find a loan on her own.
